My SmartLink does not open or looks wrong

Fix a SmartLink that does not open, shows an old version or does not answer on your own domain.

Most SmartLink problems come from a page that is not published, an address that changed or a plan change. Go through the sections below.

The page does not open

Only published pages are public. A page marked Draft has no public address yet. Open it in Smartlinks and publish it.
An unpublished page goes back to being a draft and gives up its address. Another page can take that address while yours is offline.
When you change the address of a published page, links to the old address send fans to the new one. This stops when another of your pages takes the old address.
Check the link for typos. Copy it again from the page in Smartlinks.

The page shows an old version

Your edits go live only when you publish them. Until then the public page shows the version you published last.
A published change can take up to a minute to reach the public page. Wait a minute and reload.
An embedded widget always shows the live page. If the widget looks old, the page itself is not published yet.

My page shows "Made with music24"

Every SmartLink ends with a small Made with music24 footer, on every plan. Nothing is wrong with your page, and no plan removes it. What a paid plan removes is the music24 watermark on your videos, images, covers and link preview image. See The "Made with music24" footer and the watermark.

My custom domain does not answer

Custom domains work on the Pro, Manager and Label plans. The 7-day trial has no custom domain. On any other plan the domain stops answering, and your pages open only at their music24 address. We set up custom domains for you: email [email protected] with the domain you want to use.

I cannot publish another page

Free includes 3 published SmartLink pages. Artist, Pro, Manager and Label have no page limit. At the limit you see Your plan has no free page left. Unpublish a page or upgrade your plan. Drafts do not count. See I hit a plan limit.

Questions

Do my SmartLinks go offline when my trial or plan ends?

No. Published pages stay live on every plan, also on Free. A lower plan changes the extras: on Free the link preview image carries the music24 watermark, and a custom domain stops answering below Pro.

Why does my SmartLink not show my latest changes?

Changes go live only when you publish them, and the public page can take up to a minute to update. Publish, wait a minute and reload.

Do old links still work after I change a page address?

Yes. The old address sends fans to the new one, unless another of your pages takes the old address.
