Connect social channels for auto-posting
Connect TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook or X so we post for you, or save a handle and post by hand.
Open Promote → Channels. Each artist has one card for each platform: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Threads and X. A card offers two paths.
- Connect for auto-posting: sign in to the platform, and we publish your posts at the hour you picked.
- Use a handle only (or Add handle): save your handle. When a post is due, we email you the caption and the media, and you post it yourself.
Connect a channel
- Open Promote → Channels and pick the artist in the artist switcher.
- On the platform card, click Connect for auto-posting.
- Sign in on the platform page and allow access.
- Facebook and Instagram: if your login manages several pages, pick one under Pages we can post to and click Confirm. Pick within 15 minutes, or start the login again.
- Back in music24, the card shows Auto-posting.
What each platform needs
- Facebook: a Facebook Page. We post to the Page, not to a personal profile.
- Instagram: a professional account linked to one of your Facebook Pages. You sign in with Facebook. Every Instagram post needs a photo or a clip.
- YouTube: every post needs a clip. The first line of the caption becomes the title, and a 9:16 clip lands as a Short.
- TikTok: every post needs a clip or a photo. TikTok sets the privacy levels we may use. We post as public when TikTok allows it.
- Threads: no auto-posting yet. Save a handle, and we hand each post to you to publish.
- X: on Pro and higher plans, not in the trial. We publish up to 30 posts a month for each X account. When an account has used them, Composer schedules no more X posts until the 1st of the next month (UTC). You can still post on X yourself at any time.
What the card status means

Disconnect a channel
Click Disconnect on a connected card and confirm. We delete the login and stop posting for you. Your handle stays, so posts already booked wait for you to publish them, and you can connect again later. YouTube is different: a Disconnect also deletes everything we read from YouTube, including the handle, the videos and the numbers, as the YouTube API Services rules require. Your booked posts stay.
How many accounts you can connect
Your plan sets how many connected social accounts each artist can have. Pro and higher plans have no limit. A saved handle does not count. A reconnect of the same card does not count twice.

At the limit, the card shows how many accounts you use on your plan, and Connect for auto-posting opens the upgrade window. Disconnect an account or upgrade your plan to connect another.
If the login does not finish
- You cancelled the login. You closed or refused the platform page. Start again.
- The login took too long. Try again. Start the connect again and finish it in one go.
- The login has no Facebook Page to post to. Create a Page first. Create a Facebook Page, then connect again.
- No Instagram professional account is linked to your Facebook Pages. Switch Instagram to a professional account, link it to a Facebook Page, then connect again.
Questions
Why can I not auto-post to Threads?
Threads has no auto-posting in music24 yet. Save your handle on the Threads card, and we email you each post when it is due.
Why does my channel say Needs reconnect?
The platform ended the login we used. Click Reconnect on the card and sign in again. Until then, we email you each due post to publish by hand.
Does a saved handle count toward my social account limit?
No. Only connected accounts count. You can save a handle on every card.
How does X work in music24?
X is on Pro and higher plans. Open Promote, Channels and connect your account on the X card. We publish up to 30 posts a month for each X account, and you can post more on X yourself. Once a day we read your followers and the views, likes, replies, reposts and link clicks of your posts.
