Run music24 from Claude, ChatGPT or another AI client (MCP)

Connect your AI assistant to music24 and run your release from the chat: assets, rollout, posts, SmartLinks and your numbers. It works on every plan, Free included.

music24 runs a remote MCP server. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT or any AI client that supports MCP, and ask for what you need: "make a lyric video for my new single", "schedule the teaser posts for this week" or "how did my SmartLink do since release day?". Your assistant does the work in music24, and asks you first before anything goes public, uses credits or is deleted. MCP works on every plan, Free and the trial included.

Connect your assistant

  1. Sign in at music24.com/app in your browser first, and switch to the workspace your assistant should work in.
  2. In your AI client, add a custom connector (a remote MCP server) with the address https://api.music24.com/mcp. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors. The address is the same for Claude, ChatGPT and every other client.
  3. The client opens a music24 page in your browser. It shows the client name and what it asks for: See your artists, releases, numbers and posts and, for a client that works for you, Make assets, plan and schedule posts, and edit SmartLinks for you.
  4. Select Approve to connect, or Deny to stop.
If you get signed out during these steps, sign in again and start the connection again from your client.

What your assistant can do

Almost everything you do in the web app. The full list of tools is in the API documentation. A few examples:

  • Add a song, make release kit assets, AI reels, cover pictures and music videos.
  • Plan the rollout, write captions, schedule posts and publish a video to your channels.
  • Build, publish and edit SmartLinks and pre-save pages, and export your pre-save fans.
  • Read your streams, earnings, social numbers, SmartLink visits, charts and reports.
  • Add a file from a public https link: a master, a video for a post, footage or an image. Chat clients cannot upload a file straight to music24, so share a link.
Every AI client gets the same tools, AI reels, AI cover pictures and AI clips included. Each of them shows its cost first, and your assistant makes it only after you say yes. Plans and payments stay in the music24 app.

It asks you first

Before a post goes out, a page goes live, credits are spent or something is deleted, music24 answers with a preview: what will happen, when, and what it costs. Your assistant shows it to you and waits for your yes. A preview is valid for 10 minutes and works once.

Credits, quotas and plan limits work exactly as in the app. When your plan does not include something, your assistant says so. You change your plan in the music24 app, never in the chat. LaziiBee, the example artist, is read only: add your own artist first.

Some things stay in the app: sign-in and security, API tokens and connected apps, team invites and members, payments, the cover editor layout and uploads from your device. Your assistant gives you the link to connect social channels and YouTube. Spotify for Artists, Deezer for Creators and Ditto connect in the music24 app.

How the connection works

  • The client connects with OAuth, not with a personal m24_ token. It registers itself, signs in with PKCE and asks for music24:read (see your data) or music24:read music24:write (see your data and work for you).
  • Its access lasts 1 hour and renews itself for up to 30 days after the last use. After 30 days without use, approve the client again.
  • The connection works in the workspace that was active when you selected Approve, with your role in it.
  • Each tool takes up to 30 calls a minute, and fewer for the tools that ask first.
  • A client that you approved to read only cannot change anything. To let it work for you, connect it again and allow it to make changes too.

The technical details are in the API documentation. For your own scripts, use a personal token instead: see API access on the Label plan.

Disconnect a client

Open Settings → API in the web app and find Connected apps. It lists the AI clients you approved for the active workspace, with the date you approved each one and the date it was last used. Select Revoke next to a client, then Revoke access. The client loses access at once: its tokens stop working and it cannot renew them. To use it again, connect it and approve it again. Signing out everywhere does not disconnect a client. Leaving the workspace, being removed from it, or deleting your account also ends its access at once. If you need help, email [email protected].

Questions

What is the music24 MCP server address?

https://api.music24.com/mcp, for Claude, ChatGPT and every other client. Your client connects with OAuth, and you approve it in the browser.

Can my AI assistant post or spend credits without asking me?

No. Posts, publishing, anything that uses credits and every delete answer a preview first. Nothing happens until you say yes in the chat. You can take the access back at any time in Settings → API → Connected apps.

Which plan do I need for MCP?

Any plan, Free included. Your plan limits and credits apply as in the app. Personal API tokens for your own scripts need the Label plan.
